NEW NON-FLAMMABLE MINING COMPOSITE

New non-flammable mining composite, which is used as a basic raw material in the manufacture of pultrusion or casting of structural composite components for explosive atmospheres.

Diffusers of V shaft of KWK Staszic PGG SA

This is the site of the first industrial deployment of the new NKG material used to make new guardrails, handrails, stairs and working platforms, replacing the corroded remains of steel guardrails, which under normal operating conditions are exposed to continuous corrosion (in winter at negative ambient temperatures, warm air escapes from the highly humid exhaust shaft, and in summer similarly warm humid air causes continuous conditions conducive to corrosion and excessive wear of steel components). Degraded steel elements threatening the safety of users and operators as well as their life and health were removed and replaced with barriers and handrails made of NKG material extending their life for many years.
