Licensed production of mechanized supports MHP Belarus

As a result of the cooperation of our company KG Construction sp.zo.o. and KG Consulting Krzysztof Gregorek with Belorussian MASCHIMPROM we signed a framework agreement on cooperation and a number of licensing agreements within the scope of which we designed the above mentioned types of enclosures:

  • MHP 0,8/13;
  • MHP 0,9/16;
  • MHP 14/22 :
  • MHP 16/25;

Within the framework of the above mentioned contracts, on the basis of technical and mining-geological conditions prevailing in potassium salt mines, design and working documentation of powered roof supports were prepared, on the basis of which prototype sections were made in metal with the use of power and control hydraulics of Polish production.

Subsequently, the sections were tested in a laboratory in Opava, Czech Republic, to check their mechanical properties and resistance to shocks resulting from rock bursts in potash salt mines, including methane hazards.

Tested sections of powered roof supports received a certificate of safety mark B.

On the basis of the research results the executive documentation of the mechanical part of casings was prepared so that Maschimprom as a company could become a producer of the above mentioned casings on the basis of signed license agreements. KG Construction sp. z o.o. became the supplier of key components for the production of casings, such as power hydraulics, shields and castings. At the same time the process of equipping the newly built Maschimprom production hall with welding and machining machines was initiated. From the moment of launching the production in 2012 till the present day hundreds of powered roof supports have been produced basing on delivered and implemented production documentation and knowledge and experience of Polish and Belarusian engineering staff. Today, Maschimprom is a quality supplier of mining equipment to Belaruskali.
